Update our son

You did it!!!!!!! I am optimistically happy
His fever broke last night and he is feeling better!
His shortness of breath is better, not gone but better, and all that remains is the cough.
I say optimistically happy because this has happened before over the past two weeks, but hopefully this time it will continue on for good
LOVE YOU GUYS and cannot find words to thank you enough.
And I pray your prayers continue to work for Dick
(other Grandpa). His treatments start next week. Chemo on Monday, radiation on Friday. That will continue until they see if it is helping or not. Our granddaughters are 20 and 22 and I so very much want to see them dance with their Papa at their weddings

Wonderful news! If he's not on low dose aspirin (as a blood thinner), have him ask his doctor about it due to the life-threatening clotting issues some people have had even on the mend. He may have a contraindication, so make sure he asks his doctor about it.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. They have helped!!!! Since my last update he has a lot of ups and downs. Better one day, temp, trouble breathing the next. Cough remains consistent. Friday he went to the doctor has he had been having pain in his leg. Long story short, he was hospitalized with blood clots in his leg and lung. Thank God they found them and he is being treated. He feels better than he has in 3 weeks... 4 whole days without temp spike, so I think he has finally turned the corner. They did another covid test last night but results aren’t back yet. My bet is that it will be negative
Thank you all again...not only for the prayers and support, but also for putting up with this panic stricken mother. If you don’t hear from anyone else today, that YOU truly helped someone out...

Not sure what he is on. He’s still in the hospital waiting to see doctor. I know they are giving him shots in his stmach. Assuming it is probably heparin or coumadin, but I really don’t know for sure. Whatever it is, it is entering his body and fighting the battle and I am happy with that
