updating my 'Today in History' Thread

I'm updating my ' Today in History ' thread,because change is always good. I asked another person who daily posts on the thread her thoughts, she agreed it was a good idea. There was another poster, 'Mellow Yellow' who started her own history thread where people could posts pictures/ videos etc. I recently learned she is no longer here at SF
If you want to post a picture/ video on the history thread go ahead, but please write just a couple sentences what the picture is about on the date you choose. Thanks for your support Sue aka MQ
