Urgent warning to Gmail users as 183 Million passwords are stolen

Just throwing this in, for what it's worth. All my browsing is incognito and the browser is set to clear all history and cookies every time I close the browser. I do business with Swanson and a couple of others. They do send me promotional emails, and emails about sales they are having - but that's fine, I want those. Other than that, I never get junk mail or unsolicited emails from any companies I don't know.

I have three main emails addresses, and one is Gmail.

I don't use Gmail daily though because I hate the interface. I did just check it, and there's no indication of problems.

If you have a good password (like 12+ mixed characters) then no worries. It would take years to crack it (unless it is 12345678910112). Hackers have a huge list of words and patterns of characters along with already hacked passwords in their dictionary. They will run dictionary password crackers on the list and accounts with easy to crack passwords are the ones that run the highest risk of be hacked into. Still, there will be a lot of them. It would take a very long time to try every combination of characters and try to brute force good passwords. Like centuries with today's computers.
