I just got mine Sat. and did it yesterday online and got another one in the mail today. LOLThey're getting kinda pushy- just received second notice- it said I "recently" received one.. yes, I got it on Saturday!
Only for people who don't respond to the letter. Why would they? Hiring an army of census workers would cost the taxpayers millions of dollars.Aren't they still doing visual person to person census anymore now?
Ditto.....I just got mine today. Took me about a minute to do it online. Yes, I had nothing else better to do atm...![]()
Thanks for letting us know it is a SIMPLE questionnaire - most government websites give me a headache.Yes, it does. I did that at that website. Very simple questionnaire.
Yep filled mine online yesterday...easy peasy.
The hardest part was scrolling down to the year I was born!!!!Did mine online. Took maybe 1 minute. Just a few questions and I was done. I was going to work as a census taker one year but they assigned me to an area of Houston I was not comfortable being in by myself. They say they will put you in your own zip, but not so.
Some people do get a more in-depth questionnaire.I could have sworn they used to ask things like how many bedrooms in the house, and how many bathrooms. But it was just how many live there, and how old, and do you own your own house. Pretty simple.
I put American. I was born in Pennsylvania; otherwise I would have put Texan.I did our online last Friday and it only took a couple of minutes.
Both of us had to select our ethnic background. I am a true mongrel according to Ancestry and wound up going with Irish. My mix includes Finish, Norwegian, French, Irish, Spaniard, and a little bit of Hindu. I am rather proud of that Hindu.
She went with Polish, but she could have selected Irish, Portuguese, or Japanese according to Ancestry.
My form was internet only but it did say that if they did not hear from me in two weeks they would mail me a form to complete.
It also said that if I failed to respond they would eventually send a census taker to my door.
I was tempted to wait so I could imitate Betty White's responses.
