I was on the Independence and the Belknap. You may remember the Belknap. It ran underneath an elevator on the America in 1975. I spent four years in the U.S. Navy, during the Vietnam War. I was never in harm's way, didn't miss a meal, and slept on clean sheets every night. Like you, I'm a Vietnam Era Vet.
