Using my head as an antenna fir key fob really works

A couple of days ago I posted about using your head as an antenna, vis a vis too far away from your car for electronic key fob to work.
Today I walked away from car, forgetting to use fob. Remembering, I turned around to lock car, too far away to work.
Pressed fob onto face, it worked

Yes, I do that too. I read about it somewhere a long time ago and it really works. Don't know what it's doing to my brain, though.

Mrs.L's car has keyless locking so you just have to approach the car with the key fob in your pocket and it unlocks. On Monday, Mrs.L said her car displayed a message, 'Fob battery low', and the car would not unlock till she was quite close. Like everything else, there is a Youtube video of how to change the battery, and it turns out that the fob also contains a hidden physical key that can be used. There's also a video showing where the concealed keyhole is. OK for accessing the car, but I don't know if you can start it without a working fob. I'm sure there's a video somewhere for that too.
