BIG News from VA on Agent Orange:
"VA continues to expand access to health care and benefits for toxic-exposed Veterans as a part of President Biden’s Unity Agenda for the nation
WASHINGTON — Today, the Department of Veterans Affairs issued a proposed rule outlining plans to expand the locations and time frames for which VA presumes exposure to Agent Orange and other herbicides. If this proposed rule becomes final, VA will implement a new presumption of exposure to locations where herbicides were tested, used, or stored outside of Vietnam. Specifically, this proposed rule would add locations in the United States (

Canada, and
India to the existing presumptives for Agent Orange in Vietnam, Cambodia, Johnson Atoll, Guam, American Samoa, Korea, Laos, and Thailand."

Hopefully there will be a comment period ( anyone can comment) at the Federal Register site.
My dead husband and I were both in the initial Class Action AO case, here in NY, long ago. He died with 3 AO presumptives and PTSD ( 100% P &T) at age 47 and I still wish he could come home for dinner.
Also I hope and pray that Nehmer will kick in-but I have no idea yet on that. When Beverly Nehmer et al won her Agent Orange decision, (NVLSP) 1987, it has since then affect favorably ,thousands and thousands of veterans and their survivors due to the fact that this weapon of mass destruction (AO) had given them so many serious disabilities.
Agent Orange has been and still is one of the most important parts of my life.
SO sadly missed- my husband was in Vietnam (USMC) 1965-66- Danang-dead at age 47 from AO.
