This is not an issue of mine but many are plagued with this. A friend gets them frequently and doctor says due to her age and not getting UT clean.

She has taken many abx drugs and dealt with side effects, the last one Cipro and that horrible abx.

Here's what works for her BEST and I tell others about her success with AT Answer.

Cranberry juice and concentrate really does work to kick out a UTI quickly without having to go to the doctor. A long time ago I felt one coming on and got rid of it with Knudsen's Just Cranberry and Knudsen's Cranberry Concentrate. My mother in law suffered with recurring UTIs in her later years and when we insisted she try drinking one glass per day of unsweetened cranberry juice, her problem went away.

I drink a lot of that stuff because I like it and I know it's good for me. I keep a big jug in the fridge.

Yes. Cranberry juice is very healing for such things and is so good.
I love the tart taste. It wakes up your taste buds. Tastes great with a wedge of lemon or lime.

When I was younger I had this problem and I finally found that soaking in that tub with calgon (It took me away) or just soakin was the culprit.

I have found lemons and vinegar useful for preventing UTIs with a little Nitrofurantoin when something stronger is needed.
