Very Disturbing Story A 6 YR Old's Eyes Taken

Ya know what I say :mad:, get the animals that did that, hold them down, turn their eyelids inside out, and cut out their eyes...bet that kind of horrific crap stops quickly when they know the same will happen to them. And...no drugs for them!

My thoughts exactly!!! "An eye for an eye," and I totally agree!
 
I feel that way about a lot of violent crimes against people, children or animals. It the attacker knew that they would suffer with the exact same punishment that they dished out, they'd think twice about it.
 
I haven't replied because I couldn't bring myself to even acknowledge this evil act. It is so unthinkable.
The poor little pet doesn't even know that his eyes have gone. He keeps asking why it is always dark.
I hope that one day he can be helped with an ocular implant similar to the bionic ear.
 
That would be great Warrigal, but I doubt if the parents have that kind of money. I'm sure surgeries like that are very expensive.
 
My thoughts too Jillaroo. We have a history in this country of bringing children here for important life-changing surgery but I'm not sure whether the ocular implant technology is far enough advanced to benefit this child just yet. When it is proved to be beneficial I'm confident that he could be an early candidate, either here, or in China. I certainly hope so.

Chinese police say a six-year-old boy whose eyes were gouged out may have been attacked by his late aunt, state media report.
The boy's aunt, Zhang Huiying, killed herself six days after the incident by jumping into a well, state-run news agency Xinhua reported.
Police say they found blood from the boy, Guo Bin, on the aunt's clothes.

OMG it just gets worse doesn't it? Like Warri, I 'filed' this one as didn't want to come to terms with it at the time.
I'm pretty hard nosed but that story made my blood run cold. Now it's happened again. If it's true then what a pity she didn't take the well option before doing the unforgiveable!
