A Texas woman captured her scary encounter with a bison at Caprock Canyons State Park, home of the Texas State Bison Herd. Rebecca Clark posted her video on TikTok, sharing how a bison gored her while she walking on a trail alone.

Many people don't understand "Wild", when it
comes to animals, unless they are lions, tigers
and that kind of animal, not big slow things that
look like cows!

I don't think that most people think of themselves as "predators", I don't. But prey animals do. Plus, she was behind the bison, which is what a predator, like an attacking big cat, would do. I don't think she realized how dumb she was being.

Buffaloes are herd animals. They are temperamental. You have to give them their space. It's almost like getting near hippos.

The American Buffalo, or properly called the Bison can be a dangerous animal:

Fifty-six people were injured and two died from bison attack in Yellowstone between 1978 and 1992, while another 25 were injured between 2000 and 2015. The vast majority of these attacks were the result of visitors getting too close, often for a photograph.
