Turkey has reinforced its 900km border with Syria and has tightened controls in an attempt to stem infiltrations by ISIL fighters.
Turkish police also detained eight suspected ISIL members who were allegedly planning to travel to Europe posing as refugees, the country's state media reported on Wednesday.
