I love going to Medieval Fairs when it's Viking Weekends, Soooooo many in costume and even imitating what they think Vikings
sounded like and all usually using Beer Stein replicas. Loud and boisterous, it's fun to watch them.
 
Modern day Norse Men are very large people,
I suppose that there are small ones as well, but
I mainly see sportsmen, usually well over 6 feet
tall.

I think that the Slavic nations produce some of the tallest people, both men and women. Tonga seems to have a lot of men who are veritable giants, same for Samoa. JIMB.>

The name Thug comes from 13th century India. The Thugees were a clan who made a living by killing others for payment. Thugs were a sort of travelling killer group, who way laid other travelers, robbed them of their valuables, then strangled them with a thin cord . First mentioned in 1834 in a British newspaper article about murders in India. JIMB>
