All of these songs were before even my mother was born , but isn't it amazing how eternal and Iconic some of them have become . None less than the Scottish New Year Anthem Auld Lang Syne :D

Lloyd Shakespeare was my great uncle, along with his brother Bill Shakespeare! I met Bill when I was about 3-5 years old but not Lloyd. They played in big bands like Billy Cottons big band ("wakey wakey!). I think Lloyd was married to an actress, does anyone here know?
