Visiting this forum--how often?

Heh, I stopped being productive four years ago when I walked outa the office for the last time.

Now?

Just entertainment, baby

If I make or build something, it’s to entertain myself

If I’m on a forum, like this one, it’s my cool down

If I'm speaking at a function, it's just for fun now

Someone noted 300 posts a month
Shoot, I prolly beat that
That’s only 10 posts a day
Prolly will beat that tonight

I have yet to check post quantity of mine or others

S’pose that’d be called getting on after getting off (sorry)

Or, maybe this is the place that some get off by getting on..... (that’d be a bit sad)

Cut me some slack. Geez. I honestly don't give a flying flip how often anyone posts in here. I totally get it that there are some for whom this forum is an important way to feel a part of a community, and a way to stay mentally active with its online games, and such. Great. Post a thousand times a month, if that floats your boat. Glad I could boost someone's rep because of her putdown on my earlier post in this thread. Mea culpa!

I agree with all you said Wren. I visit the site nearly every day except if I'm away on vacations. On days where I have other things to do, I limit my time on the forum or don't post at all.

If I become sickly and home bound, I'll be grateful to have a forum like this with nice folks to spend time with every day and would post a lot more often than I do. I think that those who care about other people may post more and enjoy sharing in their happy times or comfort them when they are ill, or have lost a loved one. Posts here over the years have made me laugh, and brought me both smiles and tears....I think that's a good thing for all of us.

My average is only 3.4 posts per day. But that's because I have taken breaks in the past to post on two other forums. However, now that I have been banned from both of them I'll probably be picking up that average a bit.:grin:
 
I drop by most days, sometimes twice. Don't post that often or play any of the games mentioned. According to my profile I'm at .72 per day. Pretty pathetic but as treeguy said, "Whatever floats your boat".
