Volunteer opportunities have changed for me

When I first retired I volunteered in the office at the humane society and also helped with fundraising events. After 4 years I was tired of it. In the 11 years of retirement I have mostly worked part time either consulting in my field or teaching an online college class.

From my last second career gig, I learned that truly, no good deed goes unpunished, and I was punished enough, so thanks but no thanks on doing someone elses job. There's a reason they aren't there.
