It's probably obvious to all, but the person who is legally entitled to vote in an election yet chooses not to forever gives up their right to express dissatisfaction with the result.:bigwink:
We voted during the late morning, and I was pleasantly surprised to see a rather large and steady turnout. Our polling place was very well run, and the lines were moving quickly. Now, it will be interesting to see the results tomorrow, as there were several important issues besides just voting for the politicians.
One of the best "side effects" of the election will be the end of gobs of nuisance phone calls, and the endless political ads on TV.....these ads almost make the return of the stupid "Ask Your Doctor" drug ads seem welcome.
