Waiting To Propagate

R.I.P. With Us In Spirit Only
I find myself once again waiting to propagate.

They tell me it takes 72 hours, but I'm impatient! I've already set up the nursery for my baby - now I just want it to come home.

Domain name propagation, that is. When you buy a domain name ("Philstivus.com", for example) you have to wait a certain time until it goes "live" on the 'Net. I just bought a new domain name on Saturday and it still isn't live.

It's the waiting that kills you!

My feet are killing me, my face is bloated, I just ate a whole Domino's Deep Dish Pizza with extra cheese, pepperoni and sausage, and now I would kill for some Hershey's Moose Tracks!

... and I don't know why, but I'm starting to cry ...

Don't cry Phil...
you know that patience is a virtue....and there ain't nothing you can do about it.
have some more pepperoni pizza.

Ugh - I ate the whole thing already - if I even LOOK at a thin mint right now I'll explode.

Not at godaddy - maybe an hour or two. I get domain brainstorms all the time.

haven't done diddly squat with most of them.

Problem is I buy my domains from one place but host them at another, so there's always that waiting peridod.

And yeah, I pretty much waste my money as well - that's why I'm slowly getting out of the domain and website biz.

As long as you're pacing the floor to work off the pizza cals you should get through it okay Phil. Let us know when it squawks so we can all toast the newborn. :p

It's just ... I feel so ... so ... abandoned! That B&st&rd said he loved me, gave me that domain name and now he's nowhere to be found!
