Walk a Mile In 15 Mins! In Your Home!

Walk at your own pace and work up to it, but let's all just move for 15 minutes! Imagine, you can say you walked a mile every day! No more excuses about the weather...unless your A/C is broken. You don't even have to buy a treadmill. This is free! All you need is a good sturdy pair of comfortable shoes.

For exercise, I recently bought ASICS Quantum Gel sneakers, then added Dr. Scholls Gel Pads under the top layer. For me, I had to cut out a section of the Dr. Scholls gel pad where my arch is because I inherited a change in my arch recently (was feeling a lump in both shoes before...and even in various brands). It helped my feet, knees, and ankles. Yes, the shoes and extra gel pads were expensive but worth it because I figure it will add to my quality of life and save in doctors bills big time.

 

Not inside, but I walk my dog for 3, and sometimes 4, half hour sessions every single darn day! And even like today, with rain.
Walking is the best and easiest exercise to do wherever! .. wonderful for body & soul. .. :D

My fitbit is broken, so no mileage count.
 

I have a few of Leslie's videos, too. I walk the dog every day but I'm hoping to start walking further--I lack energy. Hopefully the vitamins and supplements the doctor prescribed today will help--if nothing else I hope they have a "placebo" effect!
