When I watch Australian shows, I always turn on subtitles. I’ve enjoyed all of them; admittedly I do have a warped sense of humour with some of them. Even if they’re weird and crude, they’re still funny, imo.

I don't watch Prison Dramas! I mean, where's the laughs, the romance, the feel good moments? :ROFLMAO: The only one I ever watched was "The Shawshank Redemption!" Dark dramas go straight into my virtual garbage bucket! Keep it light, life itself is dramatic enough!

Oh, talking Australian. I loved the Crocodile Dundee movies! Now there was drama I could handle! :)

I loved the Australian TV series "Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries" (2012-2015). It was a lot of fun! The costuming and sets are fantastic. Miss Phryne Fisher is fabulous and of course, there's Jack!

@Bretrick at least half of the movie, Last cab to Darwin was made in Broken Hill New South Wales ,and the street featured in the film where “Rex” and his lady friend lived is ……. the same street I lived in for 20 years prior to getting married.

My 2 aunts who lived to 95 and 92 and only died 2 and 3 years ago both knew Rex as my aunts used to catch cabs home from ” howsie “ twice a week ……howsie is now known as Bingo., my aunts / gran were addicted to the game.

Talking about Euthansia has been legal in South Aust for about 2 years .

I really like the movie The Castle (also starring Michael Caton); wish it would come out on blu-ray. Also enjoyed the series Utopia when we could still get it but don't anymore.

I generally always look for movies featuring seniors. They are few and far inbetween. I don't like previews but it does look like a good movie.

That is a fun series. I bought all the disks. Frankly, the trailer doesn't do it justice.
