Wasn't able to get iPhone issue resolved

Had an appointment at Apple Genius Bar this morning. They booted up my iPhone and tried to convince me my phone would work perfectly if I took it home with me. I responded with firm no and they conducted further diagnostic test as proof I should take it home and be denied a new iPhone replacement. Next step call AppleCare about replacing my old phone with a new one.

I started this post for two reasons, #1 AppleStore and #2 Cold Stone Ice Cream Creamery Germanchokolatekake Chocolate ice cream with pecans, coconut, brownie and caramel.

I know....silly question. Everything works better while you eat Cold Stone Ice Cream Creamery Germanchokolatekake Chocolate ice cream with pecans, coconut, brownie and caramel.
 

I have an iphone. The phone works OK and it even has a compass. However, I am going back to my 2 Canon cameras. I am sick and tired of taking photos with my iphone. Here are some of the reasons:
1. It takes a photo and then a short video clip that I don't want.
2. It likes to take 2 shots at the same time.
3. This one really bugs me: it likes to take 10 photos of a scene. Really, I kid you not!
4. It's a real tough job downloading from the iphone to the computer. No problem doing that with my Canon.

Millions of people on this planet take millions of photos on Smartphones. Me, I am reverting to my wonderful Canon 40X which works all the time, things make sense and I can enjoy taking photos without all the stress and the gimmicks of that iphone. Sometimes, the old way is still the best!

the genius bar is incorrectly titled as you know by now.---for the most part based on my many experiences with them...typical moron techies overworked haste makes waste syndrome..young..late on the mastercard ..car about out of gas etc,, sooo, you know that is not likely to work out in your favor.....but, if you can nudge your claim, case, problem up to a senior advisor...usually by phone is my experience on that. they will move it or stick with it until it is resolved....I took an imac to the moron bar one time after several missteps by them they said it was fixed brought it home would not boot up ...the reason I hauled it 100 miles round trip to them in the first place I restored reloaded it took some hours of messing around with it.....( the apple deal)--perfect-

p.s. always move it up from the grunts... i have had several very time conmsuming but successful encounters with the senior advisors....they know the "friendly cheerul we love you" morons cannot fix s**t
 
Had to go through a few steps before AppleCare agreed to replace my iPhone. I had to pay for a new iPhone to be reimbursed after Apple receives my old phone. When it comes to electronics I feel a need to buy quality updated products rather than settling for outdated computers and software. Electronics are constantly evolving and even if you buy new it is already outdated.
