Does the Adjustment Bureau really exist? Are our lives being directed like puppets on a string? Do you think life happens randomly or did someone or something gave you a little nudge and send you on your way. If you think god is responsible you might be right. Do you see god as a universal caretaker that watches over all of existence, restoring balance, negative and positive energies, life, death, illness and health. god is big because god is everything.

,The alternative is chance.
 

That's not a bad movie.

Someone may be left wondering at times when they have a plan or an idea & it didn't go the way you wanted it to. Was I in control at all or was it all by chance? Then they may wonder if they could have done something differently.

Sometimes there are things that happen that doesn't make sense when they do, but later you realize it was for the best.

I'd like to think we aren't puppets & God has given us common sense to do the right things at the right times. At times, I hope God does come along & help us out when we need it ... whether we realize we need it or not.
 
When people talk about "God " I ask......Which one ? Allah, Buddha, Christ, Diogeneas, Mohamad, Zeus? To me all religions want relatively the same things from their followers. Money, blind obedience, their children, and their devotion. What do they get in return ? Fuzzy nonsense, and the fear of "God's wrath " . No thanks. JimB.
 
I think the money, blind obedience & the everything you've listed are from those who have perverted a religion for their own use. If people choose to follow someone blindly without thought, then they will get non-sense & fear. Sadly, we've all seen that.

No matter what, you have to use the brain you were given to think & reason for yourself. I think that is what He intended.
