Watching the world go by.

Do you ever just sit and watch the world go bye. This is one of our favourite spots, just behind our house. Very windy today and no wildlife, but we often see deer in the fields. Photo taken at 3 pm this afternoon.

very similar to our fields and farmland here... but not much world to watch going by... I take my camera to town and sit at a cafe or bar and watch the world go by like that..

Just sitting outside and quietly observing, is a lot like meditation. I do it in the back yard or on the shore of a lake or stream when fishing.

Oh, SO COOL!
I like sitting on the front porch at night in the Summer and watching the electrical lightening storms over the mountains.
or,
I have a mountain stream I go to, to breathe in the scents, hear the running water over the rocks.
Just gives you an appreciation of life, doesn't it?

Sit on the back porch once in awhile. Love looking at the cliffs, trees, and occasional critter passing by.

When the weather permits, there's also a place on the coast where we sit and look out to sea. Lots of different birds to spot an well as seals, occasionally dolphins and rarely, Minke whales.



Trawler and Oil rig supply ship off Whitehills. Looking in this direction, next stop is Norway.
