Water bill in Arizona...

My average water bill is $35 per month.
Gas bill is set up as a budget plan at $85 per month, which is for heat, clothes dryer, cooking and water heater.
Electric is high at about $150 per month. You would think it would be lower in winter since we don’t use the A/C, but it seldom changes from $140-$160 per month.
Trash and Sewer is $125 per quarter.
I think we are fortunate to have low utility bills.

From my last monthly bill:
$48.15 - water (for 1300 gallons)
$17.33 - sewer
$21.47 - trash collection
$ 1.77 - tax
$88.72 - total
A bill enclosure said there will be an increase of 15% next month, and another increase is expected in October, 2025.

That's cheap as chips, for 62 days we paid $AUD ~300, 104 for usage including a higher rate for high usage, 48 supply charges and 268 for sewage. We have a pool and we're growing vegetables and establishing fresh plantings. If it wasn't for desalination plants we would out of water in a similar way to Capetown a few years ago.

Our only “water bill” is the electricity to pump it to the house and keep the pressure tank running, which is probably less than $5 a month. We are in the middle of artesian springs all around that never dry up, so one could potentially dig their own point well although the safety of the water might be in question. But even the deep wells generally will cause water to naturally flow to the surface for years. My father-inlaw’s new well had an overflow of gallons per minute for 10 years or so.

Water/sewer/trash averages 275/month. A bit more in summer with enforced watering restrictions. Power/gas are seperate. Gas was 63.53 yesterday which included 4.56 winter event recovery. Power around 200 and that is without A/C.

My most current water bill is $84.49.

$18.30 of that is for trash pickup (a BIG bargain to my mind).

$2.74 is for water usage.

$5.38 is for sewer usage.

The balance of $58.07 is miscellaneous fees.

Our sewer bill is tied to our water bill.
Always around $90 a month.
Fees or no fees if we were only paying $31 a month for water we would be very, very happy.
Just got electric bill and it is always a little over $100 and our natural gas cost us $165 this month and may be close to $300 when the real cold hits.

Our water bill / Sewer bill was $146.12 mostly the same as last month but up $40 we usually have.
I ran a lot of hot water these past 2 months. Penn. is very high as so is Cal..

It has been quite cold for a couple of weeks this fall and Natural Gas / Electric bill has gone up.
We are back into the 50's today and tomorrow and then back chilled again.

The Delivery bills are total B.S. they have to deliver it for us to use it. its a scam.
