Now that it’s starting to warm up, and Ron’s starting to get more mobile, we’re making plans to work on the yard. It was too late in the season to do anything outside when we moved in last September, plus we were so focused on just getting unpacked and settled that it just wasn’t a priority.
Ron has an arborist coming tomorrow to help him determine which of the many trees in the property need trimming and which need to be removed.
I want to plant flowers below our front porch, to compliment the perennials (I think they’re day lilies and daffodils) that are just starting to to emerge) and the bushes that I believe are azaleas.
We have a small back deck that I’m excited to decorate so that it looks something like this, though everything will be weatherproof because right now there’s no roof. Ron hopes to enclose it and make it a screened in porch eventually.

We’ve planned out where to put the fire pit and he’s going to start working on putting it in. We want it to look something like this.
