We’re in Minnesota for Nephew’s wedding!

The Arizona Cardinals have been up in Minneapolis for a few days training with the Vikings' and apparently the players are having issues with the heat which is strange considering they do most of their training here in Phoenix. I hope the weather is cooler where you are.

@MarkinPhx we left 100 degree, humid weather in Nashville for a gorgeous 85 degree day today and 75 and mild weather tomorrow for the wedding itself which is especially nice since the reception and party is outside in the Orchard!
 

I hope you guys flew. That's a long road trip if you didn't. If you are driving, stay on the interstates. In case you have car trouble, you will get help quicker on the Interstates.

Have fun. Minnesota is a great state for fishing and hiking while looking for old Indian arrowheads and other relics.
 
Happy memories from my time in Mn. Especially remember trips to the Hubbell house restaurant in Mantorville. Anyone who was any one has eaten there. When I took my family there, the waitress said that she had served LBJ and his family. Maybe she tells all British families that, but she gave our daughters lots of little mementos of our visit.

We drove. My husband is a total road warrior 😂 and enjoys driving, though we switched off some, and I drove us in that last 3 hours.

We were planning to fly, but once we understood that the hotel, (we got an Airbnb close by) the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony and then the reception were each 40-50 minutes away from each other, we decided screw it we’ll drive! Save on the airfare AND rental car cost!

It’s our nephew who’s getting married. His mom/Ron’s sister is disturbed by those venue choices the mother of the Bride made but she has little control. Apparently the MOTB is somewhat of a Momzilla! 😖 And has overridden the bride and groom on many things.

Ron’s sister is somewhat concerned that the Mother in Law is going to be one of THOSE in-laws! A shame because Ron’s kin are all such sweethearts who get along really well!
