We’re Living In China During The Coronavirus Outbreak. Every Day Is Now Deeply Unnerving.

It would be unnerving but "when in Rome". I would leave there ASAP. From reading the article it sounds like the couple believes what they want to and thinks China is going out of its way to inconvenience them. Sounds like precautions are being taken. If they are that offended by the precautions then leave if you can.

I think this Coronavirus is turning into a world-wide pandemic and they're not telling us everything to prevent panic. It doesn't look good. I got this from Seeking Alpha newsletter this morning. Seems that people are getting the virus that have not been to China and have not been exposed to infected people. They are not sure HOW the virus is spreading:

A major selloff in equities is making its way across the globe as the number of new coronavirus cases flares outside China, with the disease now spreading to at least 28 countries. Italy has canceled all public events in Venice and Milan as it confirmed 150 cases (and four deaths) of the virus over the weekend, while those diagnosed in South Korea - which raised its disease alert to the highest level - are nearing 800. A steep drop is also being seen in the U.S., with Dow futures plunging over 800 points and crude oil down 3.6% at $51.46/bbl. Gold is up 2.4% to a seven-year high of $1689/ounce and the 10-year Treasury yield is 8 bps lower to 1.38%.
 
My nephew works for HP and he and his team travel a great deal. They just got back from Spain. Hope he stays home for awhile with this virus everywhere.
