We sometimes stop at a McDonalds for a Senior coffee, and a quick snack when we're shopping or driving a distance. I've noticed that the prices have gone up about 80 percent, in the past year. We used to pay $.50 for a senior coffee...it's now $.80. A $1 McChicken that used to cost $1 is now $1,79...and those percentages seem to be true for the entire menu.
We stopped for a lunch at a Taco Bell a few days ago, and what would have been about $10 last year cost us nearly $18.
Anymore, I think we'll just put a couple bottles of water in a small cooler, and pack a half dozen homemade chocolate chip cookies to snack on, when we're running around. If these restaurants want to jack up their prices this much, they can keep their "stuff".
