We are getting a total eclipse in these parts.

I live a little west of the Finger Lakes and the local news at 5 AM said we might get clouds and a shower later this afternoon, around 3 PM, when it is passing near here.

It amazes me how many people have travelled to where they expect the best sightings of it.

One thing about the Eclipse (and the earthquake in New Jersey and New York), it overtook the horrible news we get every day.

In my area (NJ), the start of it was fine. Then the clouds rolled in and we could only get passing glimpses of it.

That eclipse affected me in the strangest way yesterday. I live in western PA and we were right on the border of it so when the clouds rolled away about 3:15PM it was visible. It was freaky but amazing at the same time.

What I mean by it affecting me in a strange way is.....I woke up with a pounding headache that wouldn't go away. I felt queasy and disoriented until after it passed by. I even had to lay down around 1PM because I felt so strange and my head was killing me. I never lay down during the day. It was the oddest feeling.

Never saw it, TBH> Had no real interest in viewing it myself and took a nap as I had a headache all day
Whatever works for you Marie. I'd have loved to see it.

Perhaps you are connected to things like that more than others. More sensitive.
