When you hit your late eighties, at least in my case, "cool" takes on a new meaning. It means that you need an extra sweater or bathrobe around the house, and your hands are always cold, inside the home or out.
Believe me, there's "old" and then there's an "older". I guess you have to feel lucky that you even reach that second stage but I don't think I'd refer to it as "cool"!
