We now have a new Pope

Cardinal Robert Prevost of Chicago is now Pope Leo XIV. He is the 1st American ever to be elected as head of the Catholic Church.

Pope Leo is only 69 which is a walk in the right direction. All generations should be able to understand what he is about.

Time will tell and may God Bless him.

Why does the press keep saying that he is the first American pope? His predecessor, Pope Francis, was the first American pope! Or do only people from the United States get to be called Americans?
