weather and coping with old age

It is a beautiful day to day. My outside thermometer is reading 79 degrees. My heart is heavy for all the Buffalo NY people. It is no wonder that so many leave the north in the winter. I am having problem with my lungs. I hope the med kicks in soon. So much to do to get ready for the family.

It was cloudy this morning but now it is mild and raining.
It takes me awhile to adjust to cold temps and snow but even in my senior years I do eventually.

Hope your lung problems clear up charlotta and you feel better in time to get ready for the holidays.

We both feel a little "achy" in our muscles/bones when cold weather is coming. Right now we are at 86 degrees.........oh so NICE! Got a t-shirt and shorts on, front window open and back door open. Now, tomorrow we drop 16 degrees to 70......ouch! Wednesday, we drop another 12 degrees to 58......BIG ouch! Well, out comes the long-sleeves, jeans and coats......yuk!

But, by next Wednesday we are back up to 76. Out come the shorts again.

Now, on the other hand, we are giving it some serious thought about going back to the Denver, CO south metro area in 3 years. But, wife will then be retired and we won't have to be out in the cold/snow of that area to go/come from work.

I am the opposite of most.

My rheumatism is much worse during periods of high atmospheric pressure, and sunlight affects my sight and metabolism adversely.

We are thee quarters of the way through my favourite month!
