Our 20th wedding anniversary is coming up this May, I thought perhaps I should be wearing my wedding band on my ring finger, instead of the middle finger.
Back story: I weighed 290 lb.s when I got my wedding band, size 10. I had lost weight, now am at 183, and my ring size is 8. My size 10 ring would slip off my ring finger, which is why it resides on the middle finger, which is a bit bigger.
I can have a jeweler resize it, but am wondering if it would be less expensive to just buy a new size 8 band, with the same gold and physical specs as the existing ring. I found a ring on Amazon(and one on ebay) in a size 8, both running $320. Has anyone paid to have a ring resized?
