I’m invited to a wedding. It’s a family relatives second wedding.

I’m looking for unique gifts ; something that’s out of the ordinary

I’m considering painting them a picture ….
But planning on buying something as well . Right now I’m seeking something truly unique.

Any ideas?

I want to do something that’s memorable
Something they’ll love forever

The next wedding I'm going to, I'm going to give the newlyweds a certificate for something in the ______-of-the-month variety. Fruit? Cookies? Wine? That way they can re-enjoy your gift every month.

Just stay away from the Jelly-of-the-Month. It didn't work well for the Griswolds, y'know?

Wedding Gift Etiquette and Ideas for a Second Marriage

Patty, did they open a registry somewhere? Like on Amazon or something? Check that first, but the painting will be a very nice gift.

If they don't have a registry, maybe look for wall-hung objects like a planter or a clock or something....you know, something 3D...or other artworks (prints) that will compliment your painting. Or if they'll likely hang your painting in their living room, it could be complimenting throw pillows or a couch blanket. If it'll likely go in their kitchen, it could be sort of matching potholders and mitts or a cutting board, something like that.

I don’t expect there to be a registry since this is only going to be a small wedding. If there is I’ll check it out. Your idea of the throw pillows matching the main colour from the painting is a great one. Thanks! Thats good.

Maybe, a something of the month club isn't such a great idea. You may think it's a wonderful gift, but if they don't- they are going to get one every month for a year!!YEAH!!!
