.....the King's favorite way seems to be a cup of tea, followed by a cup of coffee. He also substitutes a spoon of honey for sugar, in both.

"The royal family prefers loose tea leaves over tea bags, adding, “If you’re at the royal home, there will also be a Chinese or Indian tea on offer. Normally an Earl Grey or Assam will be within the selection. Tea bags are used from time to time, but royals will definitely prefer tea leaves to a bag. It’s more traditional.”

"The ever-modern Princess Kate favors lighter, milk-based coffees such as oat-milk or decaf lattes, especially during her pregnancies. As for Prince William, he appears to straddle both worlds, enjoying tea in the mornings but reaching for coffee on busier days."
