Welcome To Coffee Corner​


My corner (world) of coffee;

It's been my energy drink for decades
When moving to the mountains, draining a pot the first minutes of a morning, would build our cabins, driving me to toil from sunup and into the next morning (winter was coming...winter was always coming)
and
it was hot and tasty

After six years of that, we bought a place in town
No longer felt the need for the go juice
Missed the taste
Went to decaf
Kirkland decaf rocks in taste
But, it's a 160 mi round trip over the mountain to get it
Settled for what's in our town
Tasteless choice
Not good
Too expensive
Found the cheapest cans at a restaurant supply house (US Chef)
10 bucks for a shrunken can
The taste is akin to brewed dirt
Figured it would decrease our desire to drink the stuff
Can't quite commit to tea just yet
This morn;
Felt we needed an energy boost to get some garden stuff done today

Foraged thru the pantry for some leaded brew
Found a can of Yuban
Had just one cup this morn
The chores were done in minutes
We sat a bit on the back deck, talking about what's next
Both noted shakiness when we put the second cup to our lips

Gotta find another drink

Well, I best get back to some projects
Maybe dig up the entire backyard with a garden spade
Beats sitting here, vibrating
