I've been grinding 2 green cardamon pods with my coffee beans for my single serve coffee lately. I's so delicious. I first tasted it when I was about 17 at the home of Middle Eastern friends who just boiled a few in Turkish coffee.
It was difficult to buy cardamom without buying online, (Spices and Seasonings at Wholesale Prices - Shop My Spice Sage) but we now have an Indian grocery store nearby so I bought a bag there. A friend of mine makes Swedish cookies called Pepperkackers with cardamom among other spices.
