Well, I Went To The Dog Groomer Today

My wife, the dog groomer, cut my hair today and did a credible job. She didn't make me look like a Bichon, but I am certainly in good enough shape to sit around at home during this COVID 19 mess.

The two Bichons were at least mildly amused at seeing Daddy get his haircut with the dog grooming tools. The younger one suggested that the time to run was when Momma broke out that Blower which they hate.

I am pretty happy with the results, the price was right and the small talk was substantially better. I love that woman!

I bought one of those Wahl home cutting hair kits, cut it myself....easier than ya might think...and I don't think it looks bad at all. Cut back & trimmed up the beard as well.

Hubs has been doing his own since the lockdown started , and he's happy with it, he's not sure that he'll want to go back to using the barber again.
There's going to be a lot of barbers who will close down after the lockdown is lifted, due to this happy breed of customers who've found that they can smarten themselves up alone or with a little help from a friend, and keep their money and time for something else....OTOH...I think ladies hairdressers will be be looking for more staff because they'll be soo busy, I can imagine it will be very difficult to get an appointment for a good while after lockdown is lifted due to demand , perhaps the barbers can find work there ..

My wife does mine about once a month. Buzz the head, ear hair, eyebrows, and shave. She's always amazed at how much hair I have. I'm thrilled with the money we save every time she does it and she's been doing it for a couple of years now. When I was going to the barber shop, before she retired too, it cost me $10 - $12 and that was just for the haircut, no shave, no ear hair, occasionally they would do the eyebrows but not always. Don...

Are you saying you're not paying your wife plus tip????

Getting my haircut on Tuesday at 7:15. The hairdressers each have their own shift, as so there's only one stylist at a time. Have to use the back doors so they don't have any walk ins. A person waits outside till called in, only 1 customer in the building at a time. Other safe measures are used as well..........OH HAPPY DAY it will be........I would stand on my head, if that's what it took to get a cut. Mine is overdue by 7 weeks,
