Hawkdon if you can't get any help & it gets too bad...get yourself a clean spray bottle and put cool water in it and set it to mist spray. Turn the fan on you and mist yourself a little and the fan will be more effective at cooling you off.

hawkdon, the only thing I can say to comfort you is to think how cold you will feel when the furnace conks out on the coldest Friday night in winter.
