Well, what’s everyone doing tonight?

I’m comfy watching the Tennis Channel with a glass of Pinot Noir. Reflecting on the day.

Picked up my taxes this morning.....so painful. Then a 6 year birthday party for our grandson which was fun. Brought my JBL xTreem bluetooth speaker and the kids jumped around forever to dance music. 4 year old granddaughter lost her “Slime” at the party. Yeah, it was a life ending event for her, so I took her to the Dollar Tree on the way home to get another one. I became her hero again.

Nice day for sure.

You know that grandpa really loves you when he’ll take you to the Dollar Tree for replacement slime! So sweet...❤️👍

Happy birthday to your grandson. I know how crazy you are about them.

Did you know you can make slime? I don't have the recipe tho'. That might be fun for them to do with you.

I'm also comfy at the forum, with re-runs of 'Father Ted' on tv, after meeting a friend for lunch earlier.

My mind went many places, as I thought I'd missed a new acronym, or child slang

That's what I've been doing for the last ten minutes, googling 'lost their slime'

...aaaand recovering from my back being out, from helping a friend move a mattress and box spring

the lay-z-boy is a godsend

I'm working on a wiring diagram for my clothes dryer. Out of nowhere, the dryer went goofy, not shutting off with the door open, not waiting for the momentary on switch to kick it into action, after the timer is manually set. I've replaced the timer, checked continuity on the on switch, the door switch and the buzzer. Everything is good, but the motor smells burned. The new motor arrived, today, so this coming week will be fun and games. If the dryer still acts spooked, I'll have to trace the complete harness, looking for burned insulation and possible shorts. Yay!

wow, you are a better man than me. My method for fixing it would to be making a phone call...lol

During almost thirty-five years of landlording, I accumulated quite a skill set, when it comes to repairs. I saved tens of thousands of dollars, over the years, by doing my own repairs. Last year, at a comparatively late age, I taught myself how to do roofing, including deck replacement. I like the challenge, the physicality, and there's always something to do. The internet does make things easier, with decent videos available.

We had rain today so I'm happy. We watched Parasite this afternoon. I liked it better than my husband did. We had a homemade soup I made in the crockpot last night. We took a nap and then I spent awhile on forums but I think I'm going to bed early and watch YouTube videos on my iPad before I fall asleep. It was a good day.

Oh Marie, I've had only one of those and hope its my last....is this your first, second or third? Be strong and bite the bullet xo
Oh, I have had a few. This one is a follow up to one I had in September. They found a polyp and now will remove it. I had asked why they did not remove it when they found it, just said they wanted to have a piece of it checked first. Even my PCP (when I saw her in January) could not understand why he did not just remove it in Sept. rather than make me go through the procedure AGAIN.

Yes, they he should have removed it then. I know others who have had polyps removed and they did it right away. Geez, I don't understand that.

Gary, ease into it. I use the straps to hang a ten pound weight over the back of a chair. Then, I can raise or lower the unit to just where I need it to knead me! Mine has very strong action. If you lean into it too quickly, it'll surprise you with its power, and you may decide it's not for you. Again, take it slow, my brother, and you'll be fine. Hope you get the relief you need.
