I noticed this geranium this morning still wet from the sprinklers. This is a small planter next to the patio. The ashes of two of our dogs are buried deep under it. So, it's kind of a mini pet cemetery. We had Skipper for 15 years and Buddy for 11. Both were very good boys.

Beautiful photo and story. Many of our small pets are buried next to our garden. When my daughter was small she had a hamster that she was particularly fond of but he died in the winter. She insisted on a proper burial so I froze him in our chest freezer so we could bury him in the spring. I was so afraid I was going to mistake him for chop meat during the winter but he made it to his grave ok.
