this is the reason that most if not all supermarkets , have the entrance doors on the right, and you will turn naturally right to start shopping...If you come to a fork in the road and both paths lead to the same destination, always go left. Most people are right handed and tend to go that way naturally. When in doubt, go the road less traveled and go left.
i never realized there were dents!when you got to open a jam or marmalade jar....like these...

where the lid is stuck fast and it has little dents where you're supposed to put an implement to prise the lid off... and sometimes it still doesn't work even if your pressing hard .. do this instead...
Instead of inserting your butter knife blade into the little dent in the lid... place your knife or spoon handle under the lid immediately NEXT to the dent..not in the dent as you've always been taught .. and lid will Pop off immediately..
You're welcome !
can you see them in the picture..?..i never realized there were dents!
What’s a life hack that actually works?
...that direction typically leads the shopper towards impulse buys over in the deli, bakery and snack isles.this is the reason that most if not all supermarkets , have the entrance doors on the right, and you will turn naturally right to start shopping...
actually in most of our supermarkets the Deli is at the back and the bakery is either at the back or at the very last aisles ...the first aisles here tend to be Greengrocery and fruit........that direction typically leads the shopper towards impulse buys over in the deli, bakery and snack isles.
Sounds classier than the markets in this area.actually in most of our supermarkets the Deli is at the back and the bakery is either at the back or at the very last aisles ...the first aisles here tend to be Greengrocery and fruit.....
A spoon can also loosen a twist off lid on a jar. Stick the tip of spoon under the edge of the lid then try to rotate the spoon. The curved bowl of the spoon acts as a fulcrum point giving the edge leverage to break the vacuum seal. Without damaging the lid, so you can reclose it.
My family always used the 'Bowl' of the spoon, tea or table spoon depending on size of jar and lid. And yes, not at one of the dents.when you got to open a jam or marmalade jar....like these...
