In a forum such as this one that's been around for many years, I suspect this has been discussed before, but it didn't come up in search so I'm starting a new round of answers. I don't mean like "with my aches and pains, I feel 95"... I mean like deep inside... mentally... what age do you feel?

For me... I'm thinking maybe 45. I've had trouble "accepting the number" ever since 50 hit fifteen years ago... but mentally and physically, I really do still feel 40 or 45.

Around 12? 🤪
I'd like having a week to re-live as a 12 year old... that would include endless bike riding, long walks with my best friend, a Nancy Drew book in my hands, and eating junk food as much as I want without worrying about the consequences. I was 12 in 1969 and part of 1970... "the good old days" in my world for sure. @PeppermintPatty

Im very childish and immature.
Nancy Drew books?
Now we are talking. They were, by far, my favourite as a child.
P.S. I still do very childish stuff and hope I never lose that.

Oh, absolutely! I read every single one more than once. When my daughter was 10 or 11, I started getting them for her, too... yard sales, flea markets, antique malls... constantly looking for that bright yellow binding among the other treasures. She loved them and read them all, too. (y) @PeppermintPatty

I’m 60 but mentally and physically I feel somewhere between 70 and 75. This is probably due to some brain changes from chronic depression throughout my lifetime and a few horrifying incidents that I lived through that caused severe trauma and seem to have damaged my ability to focus and retrieve certain words and short-term memories as well as I should be able to.

I feel 68 which is what I am. I feel like I'm the smartest (life smart and school of hard knocks) than I've ever been. It's a good thing ; ) I feel like the Velveteen Rabbit. I never thought much about time or getting old until I hit 60 then and especially lately I think I'm in a state of shock.

I recognize that state of shock... it hit me mildly at 50 and I had a hecka hard time getting past it... but when 60 came around five years ago, I refused to even think about it and that's where I still am. If someone says "senior" (yes, even this forum name!) I'm like "hey! who you talking to... I'm no senior yet!" 🤷‍♀️ @DeePhase2

Depends...if I have a day when I'm bullheaded and don't feel like trudging through learning something new - especially digitally, then I feel about 95...other days when I enjoy jumping into the project it makes me feel much younger, like maybe 45...especially when I muddle through it or master it!

I'm in my early twenties and I'm at the Fillmore East, and I left my front row seat when Jimi Hendrix was playing and it's all dark and smoky and loud & I go to the lobby to climb the stairs to the balcony and hang out & smoke with my new friends I haven't met yet. Then I go back to my front row seat and finish the concert since my needs have been satisfied and then, 40 years later I start losing my hearing all because of Jimi, et al.
