What are some good habits to follow?

1 Spend money to create some great memories.

2 Stop eating when you feel like you're 80% full.

3 Smile sometimes, even if you don't have a reason.

4 If you want to keep your mental health good, you should try to sleep 6–7 hours every day.

5 It's important to celebrate your accomplishments, big or small, as they all contribute to your success.

6 Talk to people you don't know. It's a great way to make friends and learn new things

7 Play with children. They're a source of good vibes.

8 Make sure to walk for at least 15-20 minutes every day

9 When you're feeling down, compare yourself to who you were yesterday and give gratitude for how far you've come.

10 Follow your heart but don't forget to use your brain too.

11 Knowing how to manage your time is a valuable skill.

Nice list. Ah yes, hari hachi bu... I try to practice that whenever I remember but it's kind of hard to know where that 80% is. As for the 6-7 hours every night... nope, no way. It's a really good night for me if I get 5 and that isn't by choice. :(
 
daily exercise, daily interaction with someone (store clerk, neighbour, stranger during walks - just a innoculous comment (eg "sure is cold, hot or dreary"; "haven't seen you for awhile. Have you been way? "
