What are some of your weirdest dreams?

Usually, I sleep right through, and rarely remember my dreams. Lat night, I woke up in the middle of a dream. Dreams are strange. They can be about anything. In my dream, I was in the middle of a big news conference-surrounded by scads of reporters. I had called the conference to deny the rumors that I was having an affair with a member of the Royal Family. The dream is strange, because I'm not a Brit. And the only Royal I know is the Queen. I know the kids got married,. but I don't know who married who. It's kind of disheartening that the vixen in my dreams is a few years shy of her 100th birthday. AND I"M NOT BRITISH.
What are some of your weirdest dreams?

I've awakened in the middle of a dream already where the scene kind of bubbled and shrunk away like a piece of heated film. That was pretty weird.

I was hitch hiking the Jersey turnpike heading for NYC and some dude in a blue Mercury Cougar stopped and gave me a ride. Said that he was a rock and roll promoter, then he turned, stuck a gun under my chin and pulled the trigger. Woke up in a cold, cold sweat, and never hitch hiked again.
It don't get much weirder than that.

I have the weirdest, most abstract dreams one could ever imagine!

Seldom do I dream about anything that makes any sense. Even when a dream starts of on the right foot and is in keeping with true-to-life matters, it goes sideways quickly and evolves into something completely and totally off-the-wall.

I fly using my arms (yes, like a bird), I can never run fast in my dreams... always feel as though I'm trying to run through deep mud, so no outrunning the bad guy or monsters, and I can never seem to defend myself.

Is there anyone else who can relate to the slow running thing?

I'm not a really good sleeper, but when I do fall asleep I always have the same kind of crazy dreams. I am always with a little girl who can't find her family. I go from place to place with her trying to find them. I wake up all upset. When I finally fall asleep again I have the same dream, but with a different little girl. This happens over and over again. I never know any of the little girls. I hate to fall asleep.

I've certainly had strange enough dreams, some where you awake with relief they were not real problems your mind had thrown up, whatever the meaning of them, (and devining the the meaning of dreams is a science or art isn't it!).
However, I had a lodger once who must have had something very serious in his psyche troubling him, because in the middle of the night he'd wake me by screaming out very loudly, no discernable words, and of course I never attempted to wake him during one of these episodes, nor speak to him about it afterwards. Funnily I moved out of the house, and he took a short lease on it, my work taking me away from Cheshire, UK, for the first time, though that's a different story.
This man though had been found accommodation in my house by his ex wife, and I never got chance to ask her about it, (we had a mutual friend). I imagine those night terrors he suffered had some foundation in his childhood, unless being a tax inspector at one time, might have played on his conscience I like to think too! :)

My weird dreams are pretty tame but they do include people from different times in my life that have never met but are for some reason jumbled together in the same dream.

I also wonder about people in my dreams that I've never met sort of like a bunch of Hollywood extras. Sometimes I wonder if I've seen those people on television, the street, etc... and just filed them away in my brain for some reason.

My most vivid dreams always seem to happen when I decide to go back to bed and settle down for a second sleep.

Once I was dreaming that I was telling my Mother of a dream I had that I was telling my Mother of a dream I had that I was telling my Mother of a dream I had that iwas telling my Mother of a dream I had that I was telling my Mohter of a dream I had that I was telling my Mother of a dream I had that i was telling my Mother of a dream i had that i was telling my Mother of a dream I had that I was telling my Mother of a dream I had that I was telling my Mother of a dream I had that i was telling my Mother of a dream I had that i was telling my Mother.
Well, You see where I'm going with this! This unfolded about 22 times.
And the strangest thing was: My Mother and I were talking about strange dreams and I was telling her this in reality, and it was exactly like the dream!

I often have dreams where I am lost in an unfamiliar area, or am searching through a parking lot for my car. A dream I remember well is one where I had to cook something for Gordon Ramsay and was worried he would swear at me.

When I was stationed in Spain, I had a fully clad Conquistador show up and ride his horse through the bedroom. He was pretty serious looking and was all decked out with full armor and a sword. He ignored me completely and just rode on about his business. It was so real that I woke up thinking that I might have seen a ghost. He never did come back, which is a shame as I had some history questions for him.

That area of Southern Spain was close to the port city of Cadiz where Spanish Sailing ships were once home ported. Who knows how our brains put these together, but most of mine are at least mildly entertaining.

I occasionally continue along a series of dreams where in the land behind where I'm living in the dream I have a huge house with many rooms and halls and a large indoor riding stable and sometimes lots of horses. I like those dreams.

My most sad dream was my beloved horse who passed away some years ago was traveling thru space on the way out of the solar system and would continue forever, and my path just this one time crossed hers, and I was so happy to see her but her feelings were hurt because I'd had her cloned, so on Earth I still had one like her, but she was going to be alone forever. If I think about the dream I still get teary (had to mop my eyes just now).

My best happy/peaceful dream was same beloved horse grazing in a green pasture, but with a tremendous sense of peace there.

Unfortunately the majority of my dreams (at least the ones I wake up remembering) are about software applications and database records. I HATE dreaming about work!!!

About my dream that I held this huge news conference to deny that I had an affair with a member of the Royal Family- I've never been to a real news conference, never met a member of the Royal Family, I'm not a Royal watcher type, and I'm American, not British. So, how in the heck did I even come up with that dream. It is so far out of my normal life. Actually, I'm kind of impressed with my brain for coming up with that. One thing is true to life, though. Even in my dreams, I don't get any.

They probably do not seem weird to anyone but me but every so often i have people from my past playing parts in my dreams ...... people i have not given a moment of thought to in years or decades and all of a sudden in dream are like my dream BF ...... i never remember the exact plot of dreams cause my mind races
as to why this person ? wonder what they are doing now? if two or more people from different times in life are in dream... wonder if they know each other now etc?
Often wake up tired and confused about how that person who sometimes i can barely remember name when awake ........but in dream i know all about them
