What are some "old people" things that you do?

Old People things I do:

Use my new foot-bath (at 102 Fahrenheit, jaccuzi action on)
Wear jammies all day except when I go somewhere nice
Wear a plaid robe 10 months out of the year and 2 pairs of socks in winter
Think about what's the best age to die
Inform the neighbor kids they don't know what good music is
Debate whether or not that one item is worth a whole trip to the store
Cuss at my mobile phone for being small
Rely on a magnifying glass to read labels
Nap whenever
Wonder if I did okay at parenting

Wear nothing but warm comfortable clothes/shoes
Ride the lawn mower to pick up the mail
Over buy groceries and misc supplies because of 'what ifs'
Drive too slow and caution because of 'what ifs'
Down size and throw away, so the kids won't have to
Write notes of instructions for the kids..

Learning to let go and accept being old.

Been a funny "grandma" all my life. Can remember carrying a notebook around when I was 6 correcting my dad if he said no when I ask him to take me someplace by saying "on last Wednesday you said you would take me there today". He used to say "Evelyn, burn that @#$% notebook of hers"....lol. Loved old folks as a kid.

Actually, that is all a lot of nonsense.....nothing to do with age at all.
Everyone should wear slippers indoors....just think of all the muck you bring in on your shoes!
All ages drink tea....my grandfather used to give us some of his tea in a saucer when we were little.
Having a landline with an answering machine is sensible
Only taking 'selfies' is for the self-obsessed.

Actually, wiping down shopping carts isn't useful. Think about shopping. You wipe down your cart, then you touch each item as you put it in your cart, (items handled by many people - manufacturers, packers, stockers, other shoppers etc.) then you touch money or that credit card thing when you pay.
Unless you touch your face without washing your hands, it doesn't matter what you touch while you're shopping.
I just wash my hands as soon as I get home.
True enough! It's just that I've found I have fewer colds, etc., ever since I started wiping the carts down. Then I use another wipe when leaving the store.
