I'm coming up with nothing since I retired in June 2020, because most of those compliments were from people who were looking for a favor. I compliment myself every day by acknowledging my accomplishments to make me feel good about myself.

Just the other day, I was sat in Nora's front room swigging tea, when she barks at me, "Shift your fat ar*e, Tim, I need to hoover the room, go on, beggar off home ."

most people call everyone 'guys' here , regardless of what sex they are... '' waitress....''what can I get you guys''.... waiter..''how are you guys doing''..?... even if every one of us is female..lazy talk tbh

... it gets on my nerves...
