What are the encouraging signs of a potential friend?

-likes Disney or similar humour

- likes Reading (in England)
-likes pharmacology
-interested in the big dinners
-can play the harp

But isn't the question about "potential friend"? I guess you could pick up that trait if they were gossiping about someone else. Otherwise level of loyalty is not discovered until much later in a friendship.

Anyone who doesn't make my life a living hell. That would exclude some family members and a few neighbors. Everyone else is a-ok.

That loyalty trait appears to be an important one for good reason.

I knew a women who expected her online friends to like and dislike the friends she chose and to not was considered traitorous .

People should always be able to pick & choose their own friends.
