What are you cooking or baking today?

I've tried kangaroo (and crocodile, and ostrich) and they were all OK, but I don't seek them out.
I'm cooking a shoulder of lamb for dinner along with a nice bottle of Portuguese red wine (Baronesa de vilar).
yes same here..crocodile, ostrich, buffalo, and the aforesaid Kangaroo... far too Gamey for me.. and no fat to give it flavour.. however perhaps like Davey said the way to eat it might be thin slivers like salmon..

crocodile I've tried and just cannot stomach - too gamey and evil!! - ostrich sounds interesting but with all of the meats we need good chef advice I think to get the best out of them and then again - good quality in the first place - the chicken they sell in WW now is appauling? and even the steaks are tough - I once heard that sheep breed on the salt fields coastal areas of uk are fantastic? - love to try that.
what is WW?..

well the fellas had been out hunting through the night and brought back some young kangas for breakie - my mate strapped one in a tree and then proceeded to skin it -meanwhile we got the barbecue heated up - then with a sharp hunting knife he proceeded to slice off slivers of kanga meat - fresh still with blood and we - gentle cooked it on the barbie - pertty barbaric really but wot a taste - I went out on the back of the 'ute and operated the flashlight - once you spot them poor dears with the light they stand still and wait to be shot - they ask me to try shooting but no way could I do that!

Just a thought: when eating wild game it might be prudent to cook well done, in order to kill any possible parasites residing in the meat.

I made a big batch of my version of the Jennifer Aniston salad yesterday for a family gathering, so will have leftovers for a couple of days. Eating some now for breakfast. So delicious and healthy. Full of veggies, quinoa and garbanzos with a lemon juice dressing.

I just tried this today, chop up any vegetables, give a good coating of soy sauce and olive oil, season with salt and pepper and bake in the over for about half an hour, the sauce and olive oil caramelise it’s really delicious

Last night I made chick peas (garbanzos) with olive oil, tomatoes, fresh garlic, chopped onions, hot red pepper flakes, chopped fresh parsley...... over rotini pasta. Ate it for lunch, too.

Thinking about making chicken salad with mayo, celery, onion, raisins and tarragon for supper, with a side of broccoli.

@RadishRose and I must be thinking along the same lines with chick peas. Something I never thought of or knew existed, I made a garbanzo salad sandwich. It’s hard finding something for my husband’s sandwiches. Searched online and sure enough, there were recipes. He was happy with it.
Garbanzo beans get so overlooked, yet they're so good for you.

I'm intrigued by your garbanzo bean salad, how did you prepare it?
It's been awhile since I've made one.
