What Are You Doing (Or Not Doing) To Make Life Easier?

Regular size portable washers (like the one I have) take about 1/3 of a regular load of clothes or one bedsheet plus 1 or 2 pillow cases, depending on the size of the sheet. And Outlander's right, you can't wash blankets in them, and only a couple of jumbo sized bath towels at a time.

They all have a spin cycle, as far as I know. They don't spin as fast as regular washers, so you still have to wring some water out. Mine wobbles while it spins...they're just not built to take the centrifugal force. But it's not a big deal.
I can always look at one that might be a little larger and still be able to put it in the bathtub.

What Are You Doing (Or Not Doing) To Make Life Easier?

Ive accepted the fact that Im no longer a Spring Chicken. Ive decided to pay to have stuff done that I used to do myself.
For example this summer I plan on paying some young gigolo cut my grass instead of doing it myself like always.
I paid a plumber to redo my sink drains and I no longer clean out the garage gutters. Ive gotten so used to being independent that I forgot I dont have to be. I dont have any heirs so what am I saving money for.

I no longer sort clothing. I use the washer as a laundry hamper. When its full I wash that load. Im making a lot more use of my crock pot.
I use paper plates whenever I can. I buy meat BOGO. I cook it right away and freeze it. Cooked meat takes up less space and takes less time to meal prep later.

Ive been ordering more groceries online. I hate going to the grocery store. I still do buy my meat and veggies at the store.
Online is fine for can stuff and cat litter etc. I dont need to squeeze the cat litter to see if its fresh.

Ive cut back on selling on Ebay and have been sending loads to auction. Im a maximalist but there too much stuff in this house even for me. A lot of it is due to the husband and his love for online auctions. Auctions work for me. I get rid of lots at one time and people dont come to my house. You couldnt pay me to have a yard sale.
