During the late 60's and into the 70's Lena was engaed to our next door neighbours' son.. he was a surgeon... , and when their wedding was due his parents bought a beautiful china dinner set from our shop as a gift.. but the marriage fell though..

Holly, I remember coming home from work and Lena was on the TV singing, I'd never seen her before, but I thought that she was gorgeous. I bought many of her records too. Lena will be 83 on the 15th of this month.
